Comprehensive Large-Scale Fit-Out Design and Interiors
Bayer Healthcare’s expansive campus consolidation and enhancement project exemplifies the transformative power of strategic design and construction. Bayer Healthcare turned to Genesis AEC to help them consolidate 2,500 workers from varying locations into their sprawling 94-acre headquarter campus. Our team was entrusted with a diverse design and construction responsibilities to facilitate this seamless transition.
Our primary challenge revolved around the significant task of efficiently relocating 2,500 employees from three different locations to our headquarters. Furthermore, this campus consolidation and enhancement endeavor demanded thorough planning and necessary infrastructure to accommodate a substantial influx of personnel. As we faced this challenge, we recognized the need for modern workspace configurations spanning 580,000 square feet. Our team played a pivotal role in envisioning and designing this space to meet current requirements and allowing for adaptability in the future.
In order to foster a comprehensive and supportive environment, we made substantial improvements across 90,000 square feet of amenities. We created a spacious cafeteria, kitchen, and servery, providing employees with a comfortable area to dine, unwind, and engage socially. Additionally, we established areas for training and conferences, promoting employee development and inter-departmental collaboration, an auditorium, a copy and mail center, a fitness center, and a warehouse. We designed high-density storage and a state-of-the-art data center to cater to Bayer Healthcare’s extensive digital requirements. These transformations guarantee data security and smooth operations.
Overall, this comprehensive campus consolidation and enhancement project resulted in a holistic and functional workspace, benefitting both employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
