We provided design, engineering, and asset management services for the addition and renovation of the QO lab to accommodate new product testing and office optimization for HPV and CMV testing. The 16,000 SF expansion is a steel structure with a fully insulated metal panel skin that contains new lab space, an autoclave, a glass washer, as well as support office and mechanical rooms spaces for the ongoing operations of the new quality operation labs. The 25,000 SF interior renovations included light to heavy renovations of existing labs to support new product testing and the replacement of soft-walled isolators with fixed hard-walled isolators. This project was designed to meet LEED Silver and universal design standards and was awarded a 2022 Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) Construction Industry Project Excellence (CIPE) Award.
