Our Critical Infrastructure team performed a comprehensive Arc Flash Hazard Analysis for GSK to enhance facility safety and maintain strict OSHA compliance. This large-scale engineering study was vital in identifying risks and ensuring regulatory adherence across their complex electrical network.
Using industry-standard SKM Power*Tools software, our engineers evaluated approximately 1,200 electrical devices. The scope of the distribution system analysis included:
-
High-Voltage Entry: 33kV outdoor service entrance switchgear and 5kV indoor switchgear.
-
Distribution Equipment: Substations, motor control centers (MCCs), and three-phase distribution loads.
-
End-Point Protection: Branch panelboards and individual motor loads.
Beyond identifying arc flash hazards, our team delivered actionable technical insights that strengthened GSK’s overarching electrical safety program. This project highlights our commitment to operational excellence and robust industrial electrical safety solutions.
