Ruben Pedroza

Ruben Pedroza serves as Director of Automation at Genesis AEC, bringing over 20 years of experience designing, commissioning, and operationalizing complex facility systems across the life sciences, renewable energy, and manufacturing sectors. Over his career, he has guided capital projects from initial concepts and feasibility through to turnkey delivery. Having brought more than 20 semi-autonomous facilities online nationwide, Ruben combines hands-on engineering with operational insight to help facilities run efficiently, minimize labor demands, and reduce long-term costs.
A recognized subject matter expert in automation and control systems, Ruben also authors technical thought leadership for Genesis AEC, including his multi-part article automation series published in Pharmaceutical Technology. The series delivers practical strategies for executing critical utility upgrades and maintaining operational continuity in live manufacturing environments. Ruben holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of California.
