Data Center for North American Headquarters
Our team provided MEP engineering, commissioning, and construction management for Bayer’s raised floor data center to support their 700,000 SF, 2,400-person corporate headquarters. Utilizing preaction and clean agent fire protection systems, the data center was designed to serve Bayer’s initial server deployment of 95 KW as well as, accommodate future IT load growth of an additional 80 KW. The electrical system design included redundant utility power feeds, a 2N Generator, and UPS to support 170 KW of IT load. The mechanical system’s CRAC unit design was configured as N+1.
